The Saint-Petersburg Contemporary Music Center reMusik.org announces the Sound Space Project, taking place from 18th October to 23rd December 2017. The project will be held in distinguished venues around the city, including the New Stage of Alexandrinsky Theatre, Gallery of Design “Bulthaup”, Masterskaya M. K. Anikushina, and the St. Petersburg State Conservatory.
The Sound Space Project is supported by the Government of St. Petersburg, Institut français, the Embassy of Switzerland in Russia, and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.

The eNsemble contemporary music group exists more than 15 years – it was founded in January 2001 by the St Petersburg PRO ARTE Foundation for Culture and Arts. Today it’s a professional body performing all kinds of contemporary music. The eNsemble repertoire includes classical music of the 20th century, works of young composers, post-avant-garde, remakes and arrangements of ancient music, intuitive music and non-standard concepts of concert forms communication.
The eNsemble takes part in chamber concerts as well as scaled programs such as multimedia opera productions. In 2003 the group lounged a series of mini-festivals devoted to music of European countries: the German Season (2001) the Dutch Season (2003), New Nordic Music (2005), the American Season (2008), the French Season (2011). eNsemble has performed in St Petersburg Philharmonic Shamber Hall, St Petersburg Chapel, The Hermitage Theatre, at “The Platform” in Moscow and other concert halls in Russia. Since 2014 the New Stage of Alexandrinsky theatre is the main stage of eNsemble. The group includes musicians of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra and St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra. The conductor of the eNsemble has been Fyodor Lednev since its foundation.
